David Leatherman is a retired Forest Entomologist for the Colorado State Forest Service. He writes a column for the quarterly journal Colorado Birds titled “The Hungry Bird.” David has discovered four new bird species to CO and has observed 472 species within the state. He will give a short presentation on the importance of insects in maintaining a balanced and healthy bird environment.
