The museum is dedicated to using our collections as a resource for learning. Collections are used in exhibitions, supervised studio and art history classes, outreach to area schools, traveling exhibitions, and for hands-on research. All collections are accessible to scholars and members of the public for legitimate research and study, in addition to CSU faculty and students, subject to procedures necessary to safeguard collection objects. For collection area access please contact the museum’s Registrar/Collections Manager, Suzanne.Hale@colostate.edu.
Part of the Hartford-Tandstad gift, an extensive selection of art research materials is available, including an extensive collection of art auction catalogues, spanning more than 100 years.
