MFA Thesis Exhibition 2023

The Griffin Foundation Gallery, April 28 – July 23, 2023

MFA Speaks and Opening Reception: Rescheduled from April 28 to Wednesday, May 10 from 5 to 8 p.m.

Presented in collaboration with Colorado State University’s Department of Art and Art History

The annual Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Thesis Exhibition marks the culmination of a three-year degree program in the visual arts that fosters individual research and creative studio practice. Students in the program focus on a particular area of study and complete a mature body of work in their chosen field. Artwork is situated within the discourse of contemporary art practice.

This year’s MFA Thesis Exhibition 2023 features the work of Vicente Delgado, Leila Malekadeli, and Sam Hamilton.

Leila Malekadeli will work at the loom inside her domestic installation, In Absence, in the Griffin Foundation Gallery at various times throughout the exhibition. Follow GAMA’s social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram for more information about Leila’s work hours.
