The Critic and Artist Residency Program was founded in 1997 to bring prominent artists, critics, curators and writers to the Colorado State University campus. The series is supported by an endowment called the FUNd at Colorado State University. The program allows students, faculty, and the community to engage in dialogue with important figures in the contemporary art world through public lectures, open forums, classroom interactions and critiques. This retrospective exhibition includes works by series’ artists including Alan Rath, Tim Rollins and K.O.S., Laurie Fendrich, The Reverend Ethan Acres, Susan Point, Matt Mullican, Bin Danh and others. The exhibition also includes interactive viewing stations where visitors can sample critic and artist talks.
