Family Day is a monthly event in Spring 2024!

Saturday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in collaboration with Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising

Art activities galore! The next Family Day at GAMA is Saturday, April 6. Designed for ages 5-12. Fun for the whole family!

Learn about fabric and weaving with Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising! Make your own cardboard loom to learn about textiles. And see couture Native fashion by Red Berry Woman in GAMA’s current exhibition Pharaoh 171 x Red Berry Woman: Photography + Fashion.

 

Family Day is a free, drop-in program featuring art activities inspired by current exhibitions at GAMA. Now every first Saturday from February to May! Explore the galleries! Connect with art and each other! Designed for children ages 5-12.

PARKING INFORMATION

Gregory Allicar Museum of Art is located on the first floor of the University Center for the Arts, at 1400 Remington Street on the southeast end of CSU’s campus in Fort Collins, CO.

Free parking is available on the streets surrounding the UCA, along Remington Street, E. Lake Street, and Peterson Street.

Paid parking is available in the CSU parking lot on the west side of College Avenue, which can be reached by entrances on Pitkin or Lake Streets. A short stroll through the College Avenue underpass brings you through the Annual Trial Gardens to the University Center for the Arts.


ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

GAMA is fully wheelchair accessible, and a wheelchair is available for visitors on a first-come, first-served basis. Large-print and Spanish language translations are available for exhibition texts. Please call (970) 491-1989 in advance for special assistance.

Accessible entrances can be found at the Griffin Lobby Entrance near the giant Warhol Soup Can sculpture off of Remington Street, or by entering through the museum’s sculpture garden from the alley to the east of the building.


Ongoing support for the museum’s exhibitions and programming is generously provided by the City of Fort Collins Fort Fund, the FUNd Endowment at CSU, and Colorado Creative Industries. CCI and its activities are made possible through an annual appropriation from the Colorado General Assembly and federal funds from the National Endowment for the arts.
