In conjunction with the exhibition Africa meets Africa

This workshop will explore arts integration, specifically visual art and mathematics at the middle school level. Using the Africa Meets Africa exhibition and curriculum, teachers will explore hands-on approaches to making art that illustrates mathematical principles. Join Helene Smuts and Jackie Scheiber from the Africa Meets Africa project. While presentations and activities will be specifically designed for middle school art and mathematics educators; educators can make applications to all disciplines and grade levels.
