Visions on Contemporary Russia

Igor Moukhin (born in 1961, Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian photographer, and a Professor at a studio of the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia. After graduating from college, Mukhin worked at a design institute. He subsequently spent several years working with samizdat rock musicians. From 1985 to 1986 he attended classes at the studio of prominent Moscow photographer Alexander Lapin at Moscow State University. In 1987 Mukhin had his first solo exhibition at the Moscow State University. He has been working since 1989 as an independent photographer. He lives and works in Moscow.
