Music in the Museum Concert Series

The Griffin Foundation Gallery, Wednesday, May 1 at 12 p.m.

Music in the Museum Concert Series at Gregory Allicar Museum of Art presents free music programs featuring faculty and students from the music and the art and art history departments at CSU.

Today’s program features performances by Master of Music graduate students Amity Matthews (soprano), Jenna Moore (flute), Ethan Buell (viola), Avery Smith (cello), Brianna Dene (tenor), Chandler Peveto (baritone), and Susanna Jacobson (mezzo-soprano), with support from professor Tim Burns.

This program is held in the Griffin Foundation Gallery, amongst works by Master of Fine Arts graduates from CSU’s art department, Adam Hinkelman, Seojung Lee, Nikoo Monem, Haley (Hagerman) Slackerman), and Sumanma Wadhwa.

These concerts are free and open to the public, but we ask for reservations as space in the galleries is limited.
Registration closes 1 hour before each concert or if event reaches total capacity.

GAMA’s free Music in the Museum Concert Series explores the cross-fertilization of music and the visual arts through concerts in the galleries. Performances by Colorado State University music faculty and students are enriched with context provided by faculty and students from the Department of Art and Art History and the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
