CIIPE – HONOR LAUREATES: JOE SCORSONE AND ALICE DRUEDING
Joe Scorsone and Alice Drueding have been designing posters together since 1986. Their work has appeared in many international publications and exhibitions, has received numerous awards, and is in permanent collections around the world. The two are honored as judges and laureates for the 20th anniversary of the Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition. The artists are known for creating compelling posters based on critical topical issues including social justice, human rights, and human impacts on the environment.

About CIIPE – The 20th biennial Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition
– the only exhibition of its kind in North America featuring the world’s top poster artists and designers. The main opening for CIIPE, hosted by the Department of Art and Art History, will be held on September 22 in the Visual Arts Building and Lory Student Center’s Curfman Gallery, where posters also will be on display until Nov. 3.
“Since 1979, the goal of this show has been to expose CSU and the surrounding community to these leading international designers,” said CIIPE co-director and coordinator Jason Frazier, assistant professor of graphic design. “The 20th exhibition is sure to have an impact.
